How long is the service agreement?
Every Abliven plan is a 12-month service agreement. ADA compliance is not a one-month problem, and overlay vendors are not a solution. The 12-month commitment lets us deliver real protection: continuous monitoring, regular remediation, and proactive risk management. After your initial 12 months, your plan continues month-to-month and you can cancel at the end of any billing month.
What's included in the onboarding fee?
Your one-time Onboarding and Compliance Configuration is performed by a compliance expert, not an automated script. It covers your initial site analysis, custom Abliven configuration for your platform, GO Badge installation, account onboarding for your team, and your first complete Litigation Risk Score report. It is billed separately from your subscription as a professional service.
How often is my site rescanned?
Shield includes monthly compliance rescans. Shield+ upgrades to weekly rescans plus a quarterly compliance review call where the Abliven team walks through your current risk profile and recommended next steps. Both tiers include automatic alerts when new violations are detected.
How do the 18 hours of remediation in Shield+ work?
Shield+ includes 18 hours of expert hands-on remediation spread across your 12-month term. The Abliven team applies real fixes to your code, so you do not need a developer of your own. If you need more than 18 hours, RemPacks add additional hours at volume rates, and unused hours never expire during your term.
What is Site Reader and is it required?
Site Reader is an optional visitor-facing customization tool. It lets your visitors adjust font size, contrast, line spacing, animations, and more. Site Reader is available with both Shield and Shield+ but is never required. You choose whether to enable it on your site.
Does the GO Badge work on every platform?
The GO Badge embed works on WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, custom HTML sites, and most major content management systems. If you can paste a script tag, you can display the GO Badge.
Why a 12-month service agreement?
ADA compliance is not a one-time fix. Every site update can introduce new violations. The 12-month structure gives Abliven the runway to deliver sustained protection: continuous monitoring, regular remediation, proactive risk management, and the relationship needed to do compliance properly. Overlay vendors sell month-to-month because they're not actually fixing anything. We are, and we commit to it. After your initial term, your plan rolls month-to-month.
